When are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is available from 3:00 p.m., and check-out is until 11:00 a.m. Subject to availability, we are happy to offer early check-in or late check-out for an additional fee. Please contact our reception team in advance to arrange this.
Is the hotel wheelchair accessible?
The hotel is not fully accessible. However, if you have any specific accessibility needs or requirements, we will be happy to assist you and do our best to accommodate them.
Is parking available at the hotel?
A limited number of complimentary parking spaces are available in front of the hotel.
Reservations are not possible.
Alternatively, you may use our underground parking garage for a fee of €12.00 per parking space per day.
For electric vehicles, paid charging stations operated by reev are also available in front of our underground garage.
Can I buy gift vouchers?
All of our services, such as massages, packages or visits to the restaurant and bar, are also available as vouchers. Feel free to contact us via email at info@aalernhues.de or, even quicker and more conveniently, through our online voucher shop.
Are dogs allowed at the hotel?
Dogs are welcome in selected room categories upon prior request for a fee of €25.00 per night. This includes comfortable dog beds and food and water bowls for the duration of your stay.
Is Wi-Fi available at the hotel?
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel for all hotel and restaurant guests.
Which payment methods are accepted?
We accept cash, debit cards (EC cards), and major credit cards. Payment by bank transfer in advance is also possible.
Please note that your debit card may be subject to a daily transaction limit set by your bank.
Can bicycles or e-bikes be stored and charged?
Bicycles and e-bikes can be securely stored in our underground garage using your own lock.
For safety reasons, charging e-bike batteries in guest rooms is not permitted.
Please leave your battery and charger with our Front Office team, and we will be happy to charge it for you.
Rooms & Residences
Can rooms be connected?
Yes, we offer several rooms that can be connected via a small private hallway. In addition to our Family Rooms and Suites, these are ideal for families and groups travelling together.
Furthermore, subject to availability, our Residence Garden Suite on the ground floor (2 bedrooms) and our Residence Family Suite on the upper floor (2 bedrooms) can be combined to create a spacious two-storey holiday home with 4 bedrooms, making it an ideal choice for families or larger groups.
What is the charge for an additional person in the room?
The surcharge depends on the guest's age and includes breakfast:
- Adults and children aged 13 and over: € 66.00 per person/day
- Children aged 6-12 years: € 35.00 per child/day
- Children aged 3-5 years: € 25.00 per child/day
- Children aged 0-2 years: free of charge.
Availability depends on the maximum occupancy of the respective room category.
Are baby cots available?
We are happy to provide you with baby cots for a one-off charge of € 5.00. Please let us know in advance.
Are there any smoking rooms in the hotel?
The AALERNHÜS hotel & spa is a completely non-smoking hotel. If you are a smoker, there are smoking areas outside, e.g. on the hotel terrace or in front of the entrances.
Are bathrobes and towels provided in the rooms?
Yes, all rooms as well as the holiday homes come with complimentary bathrobes, towels, and bath slippers.
Are bed linens provided in the holiday home residences?
Yes, the beds are freshly made upon your arrival, and bed linens (sheets, duvet covers, and pillowcases) are included.
Culinary Delights
Is breakfast included in the stay?
Breakfast is included in the room rate for guests staying in our hotel rooms.
Guests staying in our holiday homes are welcome to enjoy breakfast at the following rates:
- Adults and children aged 13 and over: € 25.00 per person/day
- Children aged 6-12 years: € 12.50 per child/day
- Children aged 0-5 years: free of charge.
When is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served daily from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Is lunch and dinner available at the hotel?
Yes, our restaurant serves lunch and, in the evening, offers either a two-course menu or à la carte dining.
The prices for the two-course menu are as follows:
- Adults and children aged 13 and over: €39.00 per person/day
- Children aged 6-12 years: € 20.00 per child/day
- Children aged 3-5 years: € 10.50 per child/day
- Children aged 0-2 years: free of charge.
Are vegetarian or vegan options available?
Yes, our restaurant offers a selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. If possible, please let us know before your visit so we can prepare accordingly.
Can dietary requirements or food intolerances be accommodated?
Yes. If you have any allergies, intolerances, or special dietary requirements, we kindly ask that you inform us before your visit whenever possible so that we can prepare accordingly and provide you with the best possible dining experience.
Spa & Wellness
How long is the spa area open?
The spa area in our wellness hotel in St. Peter Ording is open daily from 07:00 - 21:00, the saunas are open from 11:00 - 21:00.
Are there special bathing times for children?
Children aged 0 to 13 years are only permitted to enter the wellness area when accompanied by an adult.
The swimming times for our younger guests are as follows:
0-13 years old: 07:00 a.m to 06:00 p.m
14 years and over: 07:00 a.m to 08:00 p.m
Is the sauna area clothing-optional?
Yes, the sauna area is textile-free. We ask our guests to always use the sauna area without textiles. However, hand towels, bath towels and sauna towels are accepted and can of course be used to cover up.
Muss ich den Spa-Bereich vorab reservieren?
Nein, Hausgäste des Aalernhüs hotel & spa benötigen keine vorherige Reservierung für die Nutzung unseres Wellnessbereichs. Der Zugang zu unserer Badelandschaft, Saunalandschaft und dem Fitnessbereich ist während Ihres Aufenthalts bereits im Preis enthalten.
Für externe Gäste bieten wir verschiedene Day-Spa-Angebote an. Eine vorherige Reservierung ist hierfür erforderlich.

Das Hotel eignet sich für Tagungen, Seminare, Workshops, Business-Events und kleinere Konferenzen.
Wie viele Personen können teilnehmen?
Je nach Veranstaltungsraum und Bestuhlungsform sind Veranstaltungen für ca. 12 bis 50 Personen möglich.
Welche Tagungsräume stehen zur Verfügung?
Es gibt zwei Räume: „Silbergras“ (48 m²) und „Strandhafer“ (72 m²).
Was ist in den Tagungspauschalen enthalten?
Die Pauschalen beinhalten Raumnutzung, Technik, Verpflegung und Kaffeepausen.
Können Veranstaltungen individuell geplant werden?
Ja, Ablauf, Verpflegung und Rahmenprogramm werden individuell abgestimmt.
