Check-in & Check-out Times
Rooms are available from 15:00 on the day of arrival and check out is possible by 11:00 on the day of departure. Early check-in/late check-out is available upon request and subject to availability. Please contact reception in good time.
Is the hotel wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately the hotel is not fully accessible. However, if you have any special needs or requirements regarding accessibility, we will be happy to assist you in any way we can.
Is parking available?
We offer both a free car park directly in front of the hotel and an underground car park for a fee of €10 per vehicle per night. You are free to choose where you park your car.
Can I buy gift vouchers?
All of our services, such as massages, packages or visits to the restaurant and bar, are also available as vouchers. Please do not hesitate to contact us by e-mail: info@aalernhues.de
Are dogs allowed in the hotel?
We look forward to welcoming your four-legged friend - the cost is €25 per dog per night. This includes a comfortable dog bed and bowl for the duration of your stay. Please note that out of consideration for allergy sufferers, we only accept dogs in selected accommodation after prior notification and written confirmation. Breeds considered to be aggressive are not permitted for safety reasons.
Does the hotel offer free Wi-Fi?
Our Wi-Fi is free for all hotel and restaurant guests.
What are the hotel's payment options?
In addition to cash, you can pay by debit or credit card. You are also welcome to transfer your accommodation costs in advance. When paying by EC card, please note the daily limit you may have set.
Can bicycles or e-bikes be parked and charged?
Bicycles or e-bikes can be parked in our underground car park with your own lock. For safety reasons, charging e-bike batteries is not permitted in the rooms.
Please hand over your batteries to our front office team and we will charge them for you.
Rooms & Residences
Can rooms be connected?
Yes, we have several rooms that can be connected by a small, separate corridor. In addition to our Family Rooms & Suites, these are ideal for families, for example.
How much does an extra person in the room cost?
The surcharge for additional persons in the room is:
- Adults and children aged 13 and over: € 65.00 per person/day
- Children aged 6-12 years: € 35.00 per child/day
- Children aged 3-5 years: € 25.00 per child/day
- Children aged 0-2 years: free of charge.
All the above prices include breakfast. Availability depends on the maximum occupancy of the respective room category.
How much does an extra person in the holiday home cost?
There is no extra charge for an additional person in the holiday home. Availability depends on the maximum occupancy of the respective category.
Are baby cots available?
We are happy to provide you with baby cots for a one-off charge of € 5.00. Please let us know in advance.
Are there any smoking rooms in the hotel?
The AALERNHÜS hotel & spa is a completely non-smoking hotel. If you are a smoker, there are smoking areas outside, e.g. on the hotel terrace or in front of the entrances.
Culinary Delights
Is breakfast offered?
Our extensive breakfast offer is served daily between 07:30 and 11:00 at Hedwigs Restaurant. For guests who book our rooms, breakfast is already included in the price.
For guests staying in the vacation homes, breakfast is available at the following prices:
- Adults and children aged 13 and over: € 25.00 per person/day
- Children aged 6-12 years: € 12.50 per child/day
- Children aged 0-5 years: free of charge.
Are lunch and dinner available?
In our Hedwigs Restaurant, our lunch and dinner menus await you with a selection of the highest quality.
For dinner you have the choice between our daily changing 3-course menu (or buffet - the decision is made by our chef) or our à-la-carte selection.
The prices for the menu (or buffet) are as follows:
- Adults and children aged 13 and over: € 39.00 per person/day
- Children aged 6-12 years: € 20.00 per child/day
- Children aged 3-5 years: € 10.50 per child/day
- Children aged 0-2 years: free of charge.
Are there any alternatives for vegans and vegetarians?
Our restaurant offers a wide range of food and drink to suit all tastes. Of course, there are many delicious alternatives for vegans and vegetarians.
Do you cater for intolerances?
If you have any food intolerances, please speak to us directly in the restaurant and we will be happy to advise you on suitable dishes or possible alternatives.
Spa & Wellness
How long is the spa area open?
Our spa area is open daily from 07:00 - 21:00, the saunas are open from 11:00 - 21:00.
Are there special bathing times for children?
The swimming times for our younger guests are as follows:
0-12 years old: 07:00 to 18:00
13 years and over: 07:00 to 21:00
Is the sauna area clothing-optional?
Yes, the sauna area is textile-free. We ask our guests to always use the sauna area without textiles. However, hand towels, bath towels and sauna towels are accepted and can of course be used to cover up.
